At The Skelwith Bridge Hotel we understand that dogs are a part of the family

We are proud to be dog friendly with four legged friends very welcome in both The Talbot Bar and Hotel. We do ask that in consideration of other guests dogs are kept on leads whilst in the hotel, are clean and dry, (or as clean and dry as they can be!) and are not allowed on any of the furniture.

We have treats available from reception and the bar as well as bowls of water for refuelling. Spare doggy bags are also available from reception should the inevitable happen and a waste bin is located at the front of the hotel especially for these special deposits!

Please note dogs are currently not allowed in the main hotel restaurant however guests wishing to dine with their dogs can do so in the snug area or in the Talbot Bar should they wish.

Dogs are charged at £10 per dog, per night.

For doggy diners we are pleased to offer a very special ‘Four Legged Diners menu‘ available in the Talbot Bar.

And for guests not travelling with four legged friends our housekeeping team go through a thorough deep cleaning process to ensure no traces remain.
